We built FieldStack because
most of what gets called “AI for service businesses” isn't actually built.
Every service business owner we've talked to is drowning in the same problem. The phone rings, the call goes to voicemail, the customer books with whoever calls back first. An $8,400 condenser replacement estimate goes out on a Tuesday, the homeowner never hears back, and by Friday it's another shop's revenue. Documentation lives in the senior tech's memory, and last year's PMA customers never come back for the spring tune-up.
Picture a six-truck HVAC shop in suburban Atlanta. 600 inbound calls a month, maybe 70% answered live during peak season, callbacks happening when somebody on the team remembers. The owner knows the math, he's watching it bleed. Then the “AI for service businesses” pitch arrives. It's usually a white-labeled CRM with generic voice AI bolted on, sold by an agency reselling someone else's platform. The voice sounds robotic, the integration is brittle, the customization is shallow. He tries it once, gets a callback complaint, and goes back to the voicemail-and-hope strategy.
FieldStack exists because someone has to actually build this. Real backend, premium voice that sounds like a real person, agents tuned for the trade (HVAC vocabulary isn't plumbing vocabulary), and integration with the software you already run. Not for “service businesses generally,” but for HVAC shops in Atlanta and roofing contractors in Phoenix and plumbers in Cleveland.
We ship a full Business Health audit, a sale-readiness valuation, and an AI Site Audit inside the free diagnostic. Most operators pay $7K-$22K for comparable consulting work. We do it free because the agents do the closing, not the diagnostic.
We built the stack. Nobody's reselling here. That's the whole pitch.
Started in 2026 by an operator who got tired of seeing shops bleed revenue at the front of the funnel.
FieldStack was started in 2026 by an operator who'd spent enough time inside service businesses to know where the leaks live. The current roster (six agents, two guarantees, four pricing tiers) came out of mapping the leak structure across HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and electrical against the public industry benchmarks and the AI capabilities finally in reach.
Today FieldStack is built in Atlanta and designed for shops everywhere. We calibrate for $1M–$10M residential service businesses across 12 trades. HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, landscaping, pest control, pressure washing, window cleaning, excavation, garage doors, septic, and tree care.
What we commit to.
- 01We sell what we'd install in our own shop. Every agent on the catalog is one we'd stake our name on — same backend, same voice tuning, same dispatcher handoff we'd run for ourselves.
- 02Your receptionist becomes more effective with our agents handling overflow — they keep their job. The agents work alongside humans, not in place of them.
- 03If your shop is too small or too unique to benefit, we tell you on the call and point you somewhere better. Right-fit beats revenue.
- 04Your data stays yours. 30 days notice to leave, full export on request, phone numbers on your carrier. Always.
- 05Your customer data is yours alone. We don't train our models on it — your conversations stay inside your shop.
- 06We walk operators through the edge cases — where the AI handles a call brilliantly, and where the human still owns the call. Honest before the sale, not after.
